I travel to Thailand on 24th June and plan to travel to Vietnam on 2nd July returning back to Thailand 11th July and then flying back to UK on 12th July .
Problem is as of 5th July I will have less than 6 months left on my passport which I know is not enough enter Thailand from Vietnam I don't jave time now to renew my passport before I travel.
I don't suppose there would be any way I would be allowed into Thailand on the 11th as my passport will have 6 days less than the required 6 months .
Even though I would be leaving Thailand again the next day ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The main concern is whether the user can re-enter Thailand on July 11th with less than 6 months remaining on their passport. Discussion clarifies that Thailand does not enforce a strict 6-month validity rule for entry if arriving without a visa. However, airlines typically require at least 6 months validity, which may prevent boarding a flight from Vietnam back to Thailand. It is suggested that traveling overland might be a solution, but this carries its own risks.
If the computer system works perfectly, then the check-in agent in Vietnam would be the one indicating to you, less than 6 month validity on PP. Good Luck,,,best to leave 1 day before from Vietnam.
Although I on the UK Gov website it says you need at least 6 months on your passport to enter Thailand
This isn't a problem for me coming on the 25th June to and isn't a problem entering Vietnam on the 2nd July but I won't be able to fly back to Thailand on on the 11th.
Thanks for your help
My Passport runs out on 5th January so the last day I will be able to fly back to Thailand would be 5th July , you guys think Flying back in the 5th will be ok
Read what Brandon wrote. The airline would not let you board a flight from Vietnam to Thailand if your passport doesn't have a 6 months validity. So you should be travelling back to Thailand overland. Like taking a bus from Da Nang via Savannakhet/Laos to Ubon Ratchathani. I guess this will work, however no guarantee from my side, mate
Thailand does not have a rule that says you must have 6 months on your passport to enter. Thailand's rule is your passport must have enough validity to cover the stamp you will enter with. So that means if you are planning on traveling without a visa, and entering visa exempt, your passport will need at least 60 days validity in order to enter Thailand.
BUT, most airlines will not allow you to fly if your passport is not valid for at least 6 months. So if you can get to Thailand, you will be allowed in. But you might not be able to get there.
