The original poster shares their experience of obtaining the DTV visa in Ho Chi Minh City, having applied on October 31st and received approval on November 4th. Various commenters ask questions regarding the application process, required documents, bank statements, and the specifics of remote work options. The conversation highlights the experiences of others waiting for their visa approvals in different cities, and discussions about documentation for freelancing and working with foreign companies.
Hi - I live in HCMC have a Temp resident card and Business Registration Cert which states me as the business owner. Does any one know if these are acceptable docs for a freelancer who doesn’t have any employment contract/certificate
Are you managing the business online? The key is to show online work with non-Thai businesses/customers. You can issue yourself an employment contract as the business owner.
