What documentation is needed for the DTV1 Workcation visa as a UK citizen working remotely in Thailand?

Question:

UK citizen here, full-time employee wanting DTV1 Workcation visa to work for 1 month. What specific documentation is needed for the "Foreign Employment Contract", I've heard that they sometimes ask for follow up documents showing "permission to work remotely for X period of time". I'm a full-time remote employee but my contract doesn't specifically say so, will I be ok?

I don't want to pay the ยฃ300 visa fee only to find I don't have the right conditions.

---

Further Context:

My company will allow me to work 1 month at a time abroad provided I have work-permission. They also won't provide any extra documentation/ proof for the 1 month abroad. So I can't get a nice fancy document that helps me get the visa.

So, if I can't get the visa with what I've got, Thailand is off the cards and I'll have to go somewhere else for that 1 month. But my family (partner + toddler) and I would really like Thailand.

I haven't managed to get in touch with the London Thai Embassy (3 emails & 10+ phone calls) so I'm hoping you will be able to help.

Thanks!!! ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen is seeking specific documentation needed for the DTV1 Workcation visa to work remotely in Thailand for one month. The individual expressed concerns about not having explicit permission from their employer to work remotely while in Thailand, as their contract does not specify this. They have been unable to contact the Thai Embassy in London for clarification and are considering their options.

Tourists can work online if their work doesn't involve any business in Thailand. As a UK citizen, you will be stamped in for a free 60-day visa-exempt stay.

If you don't have something from work that specifically says you can work remotely IN THAILAND then you probably cannot get the DTV under the workcation category. And if you can only go for 1 month at a time, you don't even need the DTV. Just go as a tourist.
