TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about individuals who have applied for the DTV workcation visa in Thailand, specifically whether they could use a Prop Firm Contract to prove their income. One commenter shared their experience analyzing applications from traders, noting that while some were approved, it often involves complicated explanations and additional documentation, leading them to prefer safer options to win approval.

Hi,

I analysed quite a few applications with trading as profession and realised that trading was a difficult profession to explain to Embassies. Usually involves a lot of to and fro. Declarations from Chartered Accountants etc.

I did come across a few cases which were approved but rare and in between.

So, while I'm a trader myself and I explained that in my application too but preferred to go with the soft power option so as to avoid rounds of questioning and explanations.
