Good morning,

Non Im-B Visa question here.

New regulations are saying that degree certificates should be certified in the home country and by the Thai Embassy in that country in order to process visa applications.

Does anyone know how strict Thai Embassies such as Vientiane are being with this?

Long story short, Covid meant there seemed no need for a re-entry permit. Then of course there was a family emergency and I left the country in 4hrs meaning now I’m on a tourist visa and need the Non Im-B before my work permit is cancelled.

Thanks for any info on this.

Hi I’m from UK and already on a 60 day Covid extension; currently trying to get my Non B visa in Udon but finding it very difficult as Udon immigration won’t accept without my degree being certified in UK first before it can be then re-certified in Bangkok. But I haven’t got enough time as it takes 15 days to process the Non B and my extension runs out Feb 7th. UK aren’t giving out anymore Covid letters, so I can’t get another Covid extension... So what option do I have?

To change to non-b, teaching in Thailand it requires: 5.5 The Applicant’s educational degree certificate (must be translated into Thai or English and certified by local or overseas Embassy or Consulate of the foreigner and by the Legalization Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand). What I understand from this is that I would first translate my original degree and then certify it by my embassy. Would this also include my transcript?

US: for the affidavit for your degree, what information needs to be on it? They have a blank form but I'm not sure what information I need to include atm. If anyone has an example (with no personal information on it) it would be super appreciated, I have my appointment for it tomorrow

Hello.

I am a Lebanese/ Armenian who has graduated from a Lebanese university, but currently travelling with an Armenian passport.

Where do I need to get my degree certified? I'm guessing not in the Armenian embassy in Thailand.

And should I get it certified in Lebanon and have it sent here to Thailand or certify it here at the Lebanese embassy in Thailand?

Quite complicated. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you :)

I apologize in advance. I asked before and got my answer. However, I can not find the thread. I am a US passport holder and need to get my degree certified. How do I go about this. Sorry for being redundant. Thanks in advance for all that you guys do for us. In a pinch, this groups info is quite haelpful.
