Hi All,

Has anyone done there Thai tax return? I have been on my DTV visa since 2024 and this is the first time I have to do a Thai tax return.

Does anyone have any advice or information on the process.

Hi everyone :)

Does someone know if having a DTV is giving you the right to apply for a resident card?

Thank you for your help ❤

For the benefit of other Expat Americans still in Thailand and need to have an Extension from Thai Immigration. You may want to write the Embassy too.

The U.S. Embassy Bkk issued a long Health Advisory on March 20. In that advisory it says... "U.S. citizens normally resident overseas should avoid international travel."

Monday, I am going to send an email letter to the U.S. Embassy Bkk asking that this phrase be used in a letter on Embassy Letterhead sent to me as a PDF attachment in reply. Or to please use a stronger more definitive statement.

I will explain that I am a resident here in Thailand. Furthermore, that leaving causes a great deal of problems for me as I have serious responsibilities here.

I will also point out that I remain a citizen of the United States. Plus attach a copy of the main page of my passport. I don't want them to overlook that fact.😉
