Hi All,

Has anyone done there Thai tax return? I have been on my DTV visa since 2024 and this is the first time I have to do a Thai tax return.

Does anyone have any advice or information on the process.

Is it true that if you're a Thai tax resident (living in Thailand more than 180 days) and you remit income throughout the year that is LESS THAN 120,000 THB, then you are NOT required to file a Thai tax return?

Quick question - if I am applying for DTV and say I remain in Thailand +180 days and therefore deemed a 'Thai tax resident' do I need to file my global income locally? Or only need to file for global income which is remitted to Thailand?

Wondering if anyone have had success getting a proof of residency from the Thai tax department? Reason I’m asking is that I need this document to show Portuguese authorities that I’m now residing in Thailand.

I heard from an agency in Pattaya that they can’t process this kind of document with the Thai tax department if you’re on DTV visa but maybe someone has other experiences.
