If I arrive on a 60-day visa free entry, can I visit Lao with my thai wife , for a few days and re-enter Thailand for my flight home to UK ? ...Or will that be a problem because it will count as 2x60day visa free entries in first half of year?
(I have been using non-O for 3 month stays over past 7 years, bug this time its just a short holiday around songkran)
Thanks for all advice

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of re-entering Thailand on a 60-day visa-free entry after a short visit to Laos with their Thai wife, specifically during Songkran. They express concern about whether this would count as two entries within the first half of the year, given their history of using a non-O visa for longer stays. Comments indicate that re-entering should be fine if it's their only visit, but emphasize that the amount of days spent in Thailand and travel patterns matter more than just the number of entries.

The visa exempt is not only depending on how many times you use this bit it is amso the amount of days staying . If you only stay short time you can do more then 2 entries on visa exempt
its amount of days in country and travel patterns not amount of entries. Biggest tourists in Thailand are Malaysians. They come over for weekends shopping and doing stuff. Many people come over from Singapore for weekend visirs. I used to do it myself its cheaper than one night out in Singapore. This two entry limit is false information
thank you so much. I love dashing to Penang for a week when in situ in the South. Had thought that was now over with the 2 entry part being emphasised. Appreciate the info. Kapai.
