Hi everyone, I have a question about applying for the DTV under the Soft Power category.

Is it mandatory to provide your most recent tax records when applying?

I have a Spanish passport and I was planning to apply in Spain. I can provide a Spanish bank statement showing sufficient funds, as well as proof of address in Spain, but I currently do not pay tax in Spain.

I do, however, have tax records from the UK, as I pay tax there.

My agent has asked me to provide my tax records, which made me wonder whether I should change my application location from Spain to the UK instead.

Has anyone applied for DTV Soft Power in Spain without Spanish tax records? Were you asked to provide tax documents?

You can't apply from Uk. If you have tax records from UK you can submit them and explain why and why you don't pay tax in Spain. You don't need to submit tax records unless asked.
