For people on Samui and Phangan, retirement visa extensions now require even more (irrelevant?) Information:

!!! for extention of retirement visa - peeps from KP be aware you need to bring more paperwork than last year!!!

now they also request to bring your valid TM30 and a picture that shows you in front of your house (housenumber visible)

* make sure you have all this before you leave KP to go to immigration samui …🙏🏻👍

My 90 day report (Currently on a tourist COVID extension) was due Saturday. Location - phangan

Will i get fined if i go today (Monday)?

If i am going to be flying out of the country before i have any other immigration business anyways, is it even worth my time to go?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, my visa will run out Jan 29. I am flying to Koh Samui soon and would like to apply for the extension there. I have been living up north but am moving south now. I would like to live on Phangan or Tao (i dont think i can get to tao at the moment but can get to phangan). Can I go to immigration immediately when i land on samui or do I need to go check in a hostel first and get a tm30?

Also to double check, i can get the extension on Samui right? or do i need to go to surat?
