Hello folks I hope everything is doing good.

I find myself in situation that brings up this question.

If I get a 30 days extension after the expiration or 60 day TR visa so a total of 90 days.

Can I change my visa on that 30 day extension ?

Your suggestions or experience will be very helpful for me.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry concerns the possibility of changing visa types while on a 30-day extension following the expiration of a 60-day tourist (TR) visa. Respondents clarify that a 30-day extension is treated the same as the original 60 days, but for a visa change application, it's important to apply with at least 14-21 days remaining on the visa. Additionally, one must ensure that the extension is granted before the initial TR visa expires to avoid overstaying.

You need to get the extension before the TR60 expires you are technically overstaying your visa if you don't.

There's nothing special about the extra 30 days. It's considered the same as the original 60 days.

But most applications to change visa type require you to have at least 14-21 days left on your stamp, so you're going to need to apply soon after your 30 day extension starts.
