TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about renewing their 6-month multiple entry visa for Thailand, which expires in October, as they frequently visit Thailand and Laos. Community responses clarify that the METV cannot be renewed but can be obtained again from the home country. They suggest that the user could potentially re-enter Thailand shortly before their visa expires to receive a new 60-day stamp, thus maximizing their stay in Thailand.

What a mess, please state the validity of the visa, when is the 6 months finished? Nevermind your last entry stamp date. By re-entering Thailand just before the visa expires you can get another 60 day stamp and extension in country, getting almost 9 months out of the visa.

If your METV Evisa

Has a last exit date or or around October 15

You could leave Thailand

A few days before that date , come back in before the 14th which can activate another 60 days ?

On your current visa in total how much time have you spent inside Thailand not counting your current 90 days stamp (which I assume is the final one you can get other than a 30 day extension)

I’ve stayed in Thailand no more than 2 months on my 6 month visa as I’ve visited Laos and Vietnam hence why I had the multiple visits on my visa

then you should be fine with a 2nd one assuming your home consulate will issue you with one. Unfortunately you would need to travel to your home country to apply

Your entry stamp permited to stay and your visa validity date are the same, 15-Oct? I very much doubt that. "and I can stay until 15 October"

An METV is only available from your home country or country of legal residence.

You can’t renew it but you could go home and buy a new one. Some embassies or consulates may have restrictions on whether you could get more than one in a year.
