Hi, my daughters passport expires BEFORE her extension expires. Is this accurate or a mistake stamp? When we get her new passport will immigration transfer her visa to the new passport and honor the original date? (Passport expires March 4 her extension expires March 31st)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The daughter’s passport expiration date is March 4, while the visa extension goes until March 31. According to a comment, the stamp on the passport indicating the extension is a mistake, and immigration will likely not extend the days beyond the passport expiration. It's advised to get a new passport and apply for a new visa extension before March 4.

Unfortunately, that stamp is wrong and her extension is valid until 4th March as her passport validity. Most likely immigration officers will notice when you apply for transferring stamps. And would not give you "extra" days.

Get her a new passport, and apply for a new extension on or before 4th March.
