Can you take a cruise from Phuket for a visa run?
Hello everyone, I wanted to know if it was possible / available to take a cruise out of Phuket for several days in order to complete a visa run. Last time I was in phuket I took a van to the boarder of Malaysia and paid a bunch of money. I would rather just spend some more money to actually enjoy myself. Has anyone ever done something like this? Thanks friends.

1900 Baht at the Immigration, to extend 30 days...... should be the cheapest way, and done i n a few hours ;-)

I believe there is a ferry from koh lipe to lankowi Malaysia, haven't done it, but maybe worth looking at

Scott K Donahue Koh Lipe isn't exactly Phuket's next-door neighbor. And there's probably no hop-on hop-off cruise to get to Koh Lipe and back.

Today the regulation are tougher. On a cruise the immigration procedures are dedicated to cruise. I would take a flight to Singapore. Short one hour cheap flight. Big experience and shopping. Just don’t spit your chewing gum on the pavement…
