Today I went to Chiang Mai Immigration intending to extend my Non-O visa based on a Thai Wife. I arrived at 08:15 and got queue number C-17. They opened at 08:30. At 09:30, after processing queue number C-10, they announced they were already full for today but we could still have our paperwork checked today, for review at a later date. When my number was called the IO said my paperwork was well prepared but I had used an out of date form STM.2 which I got from their website (the current form is in the photo). The only other issue was that some of our signatures were too low on the paper and we need to sign again higher on the paper. I was told to come back on April 17, after Songkran as my current visa expires on April 28.
For the DTV paperwork, under the work contract - compensation, would you recommend having a fixed salary put in, or would a "paid on a monthly project basis" clause work too. Thanks
Hello. I applied for my non o visa just over 2 weeks ago in Hua Hin with all the correct paperwork and paid the 2000 baht.
After seeing the Immigration Officer he gave me back my passport with a paper attached at the back with my visa number and date to go back, which is this Friday to get my passport stamped.
I was not told I need to bring any paperwork on Friday, just my passport.

Report from CW amnesty extension. Arrived at 0836. Was number 90. First hour only 10 people seen then it went fast. I was done by 11:15. Stamped until 30th Nov.
Has anyone who got an embassy letter in amnesty and stamped in until 26th October been to immigration and got the stamp until November 30th yet? And what paperwork is any did you need.
