My Non-b visa is about to expire next month, can I renew in Thailand still and where to do so ?
Is the paperwork the same as when initially applying for a Non-b?
Thanks in advance ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for an extension of your Non-B visa in Thailand at the local immigration office. It's recommended to consult your employer about the necessary documents for the extension, as the paperwork will differ from the initial application. Visit the immigration office before your current visa expires to get a list of requirements based on your employment.
you need to be talking to your employer AND they should know what you need to take document wise to apply for an extension of stay (you're not renewing anything). You apply for an extension at the immigration office in the area where you live.
IF you got your Non-B outside of thailand the paperwork is NOTHING like what you submitted to get an extension.
Best advice is go to your immigration office BEFORE you need to apply for a new extension and get the hand out listing the requirements to get an extension based on employment.
I'm sure no need to add, but every year same documents but all have to be up-to-date ones, especially some are government official papers which sometimes only a few months until expire (to IO)
