As a UK resident applying for a 60-day tourist visa, you will have 90 days from the date of issuance to enter Thailand. This means you can enter Thailand anytime within those 90 days, after which the visa will become invalid. Some users also mentioned the METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) as a preferable alternative, which allows for multiple entries within six months, providing a flexible means of travel.

There seem to be a lot of closet homosexuals going to Thailandπππ
Simon JamesThank God, that Swedish, Danish and Norweigian men know how to treat women, nor are they scared of strong women. You see, we have equality in the Scandinavian countries.
Simon Jamesand you must be a Muslim lover. Since you act like a chauvanistic prick. Your poor chauvanistic soul, got but hurt cos of a strong woman. πππ
Might want to consider the METV visa. Good for 6 months with multiple entries up to 60 days each entry. Usually extendable an additional 30 days. Won't be affected by any of the upcoming proposed visa exempt entry changes. Pretty much the best tourist visa available, gives you plenty of options to come and go as you please for 6 months.
John Bunn As with all visas, the 6 months the METV visa is good for begins on the day of issue. When You choose to use it is up to You. However you usually have to use it by 90 days. The visa will have a use before date dtamped in it. Waiting 30 or 60 days to use it shouldn't be a problem, but waiting 90 days would be pushing the limit. Just get it closer to when you actually plan to travel. It really is in my opinion the best actual tourist visa available. If you actually want to move to Thailand its still a good way to get started and when you're ready get a Non-O or Non-OA visa.
If you voted for Reform UK or Restore UK, then you shouldn't be going abroad, seeing as you hate foreigners so nu h. Stay on the island instead. Hypocrite π€π€π€¬, or you'll end up being a ruddy foreigner I Thailand.
Martin Martinand don't think, that you're a Norseman, if you can't handle strong women.
At least, Swedish, Norweigian and Danish men don't treat women like shit, like you do.
They respect women.
No wonder the Thai embassy, is turning your 60 day free VISA down to 30, cos you behave like heathens.
Also, don't date Scandinavian girls either cos we're brought up to be equal with no chauvanistic men. / adopted from Thailand by Swedish parents and proud, so go fck yourself π πΉππΈπͺ
Eva A-w Hey "Eva". You'te clearly screwed up. Maybe it's all those pies you eat with too much red meat and additives, I'm no expert. You clearly need help so put your chocolate bar down and seek professional mental health advisor. ππ»
Paul Lappinread what I've written already, and try and comprehend it.
They're changing the rules. Cos I guess people are over staying or they behave like heathens, and people in America and the UK, go to other countries, whilst complain about foreigners in their countries. They shouldn't go on holiday at all.
Paul Lappinalso, these types of people, also say that us adopted from Thailand by western parents, aren't Swedish, in my case, or to which country they were adopted to, and that were Thai cos we're not white so I'm giving the people in those country a bit of what they dish out. What goes around comes around, you know.
Paddy Elliott actually, I'm a woman, however your narrow minded brain cells might not comprehend that, {R your neadethal way of thinking. Are you sure, you're not a a closet puff, cos you seem a bit obsessed with lady boys πππ
Simon Patrickactually I was adopted, so I'm legal, comparing to yourself. Also, I'm a woman, but seeing as you're so obsessed with lady boys, I take it, that you're a closet puff. Come out already πππ
Mark Malkovicyep like Farage and Lowe. Don't go on holiday, live or retire in another country, if you don't like foreigners in your country. Simple enough ππ
A single entry tourist visa is valid for 90-days from the day the embassy issues it. So you have 90 days to enter Thailand using that visa to obtain your 60-day entry stamp.
a multiple entry tourist visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue and every time you enter Thailand during that 6 months you get stamped in for 60 days
