What is the expiry date of my Thai visa based on my immigration stamp?

Dec 16, 2025
Got my DTV approved & flew into BKK the next day, had a female IO stamp me in. She looked a bit moody but no questions asked even though she took her time to look at my docs

What date does my visa expiry date looks like to you ? 20th June or 20th Jan, 2026 ?

If it’s 20th of June then it’s over 180 days that I got stamped in (190 days ?)

Please advise, if this will become a problem for me & how should I rectify this. Thanks in advanced !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's entry stamp date is being interpreted, with most commenters agreeing it reads as June 10, 2026, corresponding to a 180-day stay allowance after the date of entry. The user is advised to adhere to the 90-day reporting requirement as well, indicating that they need to update their address with immigration within that timeframe.

Like other saying, its stampen DTV and "evisa" and 10 of June makes it 180 days DTV stamp. So, that's what it is.

Don't miss too much the Address update at 90 days.

I flew in from KL to Bangkok a couple weeks ago. Would like to share my arrival experience in case it is helpful. When the crowd got to immigration, a female IO came in front of the booth and yelled at some people who looked South Asian to stand in an orderly fashion. Maybe this was their first time standing in a line, but of course being South Asian isn't relevant here. Then I saw another female IO demand that a Malay tourist show his return flight, which he didn't seem to have. Another female IO very efficiently stamped me, also female, in on my DTV fairly fast. However, I haven't spent more than a few months in Thailand this year. Thought I'd share.

When you say "she took her time to look at my docs" what docs are you referring to? Passport/visa printout/boarding pass? Personally those are the only 3 things I've handed over. They see the TDAC when they scan my passport.

- How did you even get 20 Jan 26? If it were Jan, that would mean you were only allowed to stay about 30 days, which is impossible 🤣 and You know what the letter “A” looks like, right? What the officer wrote doesn’t look like an A at all 😂

It clearly looks like a “U”

A should have a line going down, shouldn’t it?
