I have a discussion about the last valid day of my O-A visa. The immigration officer says the last valid day is the last day mentioned on my Visa. However, my agent says, the last valid day is the day one year after your arrival. In my case there is a differents of 30 days between those two dates. I think my agent is right.

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is some confusion regarding the last valid day of an O-A visa in Thailand. An immigration officer indicates that the last day mentioned on the visa is the final date for entry, while an agent suggests it is one year after the arrival date, leading to a 30-day discrepancy. Community comments clarify that the visa's validity is separate from the stay permissions indicated by entry stamps. The visa allows entry until the date specified on it, while the stay permit stamp in the passport dictates how long one can remain in Thailand. For those considering extending the visa, leaving Thailand and re-entering before the visa expires may result in receiving a new one-year stamp, contingent on having appropriate medical insurance.
Be certain to obtain a re-entry permit before you leave Thailand if you didn't include it in your original OA visa. If you depart without it you're Visa is no longer valid.
I think your agent is trying to scam you so that you go beyond the validity of your visa then cannot do a border bounce to get a new 12 month stamp so will have to do an extension for which you have not prepared by seasoning 800k so you have to use an agent. How do you believe what an agent tells you rather than an Immigration Officer?
A number of people are recommending that you leave Thailand and then re-enter just before your visa (not remain until date) expires. You will be stamped in for 1 year or the date you have insurance for. So it will be worth purchasing 1 years medical insurance before you leave Thailand.
Keep in mind after the visa validity date stamped on your visa passes, your reentry privileges have expired. You will need to buy a reentry permit should you wish to leave and keep your stay permit alive.
There are 2 distinct dates in play. Your Non-OA visa is valid until the date specified in the visa which is the last day you can use the visa to enter Thailand. The stamp in your passport is your permission to stay in Thailand, the date by which you must leave Thailand.
You can get a 2nd year out of a Non-OA visa by leaving and re-entering Thailand while still inside the valid until date of the visa provided you also have another year's worth of insurance.
I did it exactly as you mentioned. Left and re-entred the country inside the first year validity of the OA visa (with new health insurance). At the border I got a new one year stamp but when I went to the immigration office for TM30 they did not accept the stamp from the border.
