Hi folk, we will be moving to our house in Chiang Mai in January. I will be applying for a spouse visa for myself.
My question is actually about vehicle insurance, as we will be purchasing a car shortly after arriving. To purchase the car, it will obviously be in the bossladys name, however, she doesn't drive.
Will I be able to tax, and insure the vehicle on a first class policy despite the vehicle being registered to her ?
Hello - using a friends motorbike and she asked me to help her pay the taxes on it. They havent been paid in a few years as she has been out of the country since before COVID - the sticker says 2561.
Does anyone know if the transport office makes you backpay all the years or just this current year to update the road tax? Dont want to get in trouble or pay a huge fine!

Does anyone know if a Thai registered car allowed to drive in Laos -Vietnam-Cambodia- Myanmar? I'm Chinese and have an own car with ownership in Thailand, I would have road trip from Thailand to Laos-Vietnam-Cambodia-Myanmar, I have blue book but don't have any work permit, may I cross borders? And how, please? I mean what full documents should I prepare? Who or which office can I enquire?
