What is the current status of the visa exemption scheme for Indian and Kazakhstani nationals in Thailand after November 11th, 2024?

Good day!
I have a quick question regarding the visa exemption scheme for Indian and Kazakhstani nationals, which, as far as we know, is valid until November 11th. There's quite a bit of confusion surrounding this topic. I've even tried reaching out to the Tourism Authority of Thailand in New Delhi, but unfortunately, clarity seems hard to come by. I'm currently looking at two articles with differing information and am unsure which one to rely on. 
One of the articles from Thai Embassy New Delhi says- The scheme is valid until Nov 11th 2024:

Though they don't have any recent update on their site

As of July 15th, Indian nationals can now enter Thailand under a 60-day visa exemption, superseding the previous policy. Confusion persists due to different information from resources, but it seems the 60-day rule currently applies and there are no updates on changes for now. Travelers are advised to stay informed for any potential announcements.

What is strange that 8 countries, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Iran, Nepal, Togo, Nigeria and Uganda, could enter using a tourist visa, but could not extend that visa for 30 days unlike other countries - on application for an extension it would be denied and they’d be given 7 days to leave. This hasn’t changed.

So if you’re Indian and you’ve bought and paid for a tourist visa you can’t extend. But if you enter visa exempt you’ll still get 60 days and can extend. Go figure the logic.

Should I wait for any further announcements in the news or media in the coming days, or is it safe to plan travel under the visa exemption after November 11th? Your guidance would be very helpful.

Prior to July 15th Indian nationals were afforded a visa exempt entry (30 days), which was a scheme set to end on November 11th.

However India and a host of other nationalities were added to the list of countries that could avail of visa exempt over Visa on Arrival on July 15th and allowed a 60 day stamp on entry. This superseded the previous mandate of expiry on Nov 11th.

There has not been any mention of when or even if this 60 day allowance will change. For India or any other nationality on that list.
