Non A-O for 50 year old (retirement) and Non O for 47 year old (dependent)

Does health insurance need to match that of the visa expiry, ie: Non A-O 12 months.

Is a return flight required with retirement and dependent visas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the requirements for Non A-O (retirement) and Non O (dependent) visas in Thailand, specifically for individuals aged 50 and 47. Key points include the need for health insurance to match the visa's duration (12 months for Non A-O) and confirmation that a one-way flight is acceptable for entry. Additionally, questions about proving residency and the validity of marriage certificates for visa applications are highlighted, along with the importance of timing health insurance with the visa application process.

As you both holders of UK passports...

You say your wife plans on making application for the OA visa and the Non O Visa for you from the UK Thai Embassy Evisa online website

Do you have proof of your being in residence in the UK to upload into your visa applications ?

I have allowed this post as it's obvious that you are confused... AND have posted several times in past months about your plans to retire in Thailand.

You say you will get the OA visa in your home country....

Then say you are age 47 and will get the Non O as your wife's dependent... she is age 50+.

Will you get his Non O as the wife's dependent on her OA visa in your home country?

sorry, my wife is 50 and will get the Non AO in the UK, I’ll get the Non O as dependent as I’m only 47, problem I have now is our Georgian marriage certificate isn’t certified 😫

The OA visa holder will need to submit PROOF of One year of health insurance to meet the specific requirements for the OA visa.

Have the effective date of the OA visa insurance to match up with your planned arrival date into Thailand.

You will get permission to stay date stamp which is the ending date of the OA visa insurance...max of one year from arrival date.
