Hi guy's, I'm traveling back from Vientiane tomorrow.

Flight from Vientiane to Bangkok BKK.

I'm then flying on to Phuket.

Has anyone done this recently?

My question is when I land in Bkk do I have to do immigration there or can I stay airside and do immigration In Phuket?

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers connecting from an international flight to a domestic flight in Thailand must go through immigration upon arrival in Bangkok. After completing immigration and customs, passengers can proceed to the domestic terminal for their next flight to Phuket.

Welcome back to Phuket! I'm going "home" Phuket from Vientiane Friday. 😊 Yes stamp passport at BKK. Unsure ask ground staff they will point to direct you. Most probably like how we reached Laos, go thru luggage claim and enter "sad escalator" onto domestic terminal again. Out & in again 😊 I have 3hour layover. I check most flights have 3 to 4hours layover hope you have enough time. Safe trip back! 😁
