I'm german, over 50, not retired but full-time working in a company. I can take this year a so called "Sabatical" for some months and want go for 3 months to Thailand with a 90 day retirement O visa. Some background infos:
1. I'm over 50
2. Registration certificate and criminal record certificate are no problem and easy to get.
3. In the 3 last months I haven't at any time 800k THB in my bankaccount (there are better ways to invest my money than putting it in a bank account). I also not plan to fill up my bank account and wait 3 more months to meet this requirement
4. Because I'm working I not get retirement money from the government. My regular income in my company is over 135k THB / month (more than the required 65k THB retirement income).
Question: I have heard that instead of the pension statement/proof of income from the government, you can also use the salary statements of the last three months as proof of regular income from the employer. If yes, and someone do it like this can you someone give me more details? Are there some additional paper needed?
I would prefer answers from german guys who tried it in that way (munich/frankfurt?). Because every Thai-Embassy handles it a little bit different. But of course I would appreciate also answers from guys from other european countries who tried it this way.

What are our best options to do this properly with Visa?
As far as I understood there are two options:
A) Enter the country as normal tourist, get a 30 day visa and then extend to 60 days. After that we have to leave the country and can come back with a new tourist visa? Is that correct? Or will we have to leave permanently once the 60 days are over and cannot come back.
B) Apply for a Multiple Entry Visa. Where exactly can I do that? Our flight is in 15 days already. Is that sufficient time?
Is it also possible to enter the country with a normal visa and then apply within the country for the multiple entry visa?
C) I assume there is also a way to go with Visa agencies. Is that recommended?
Good morning! Didn’t quite found the answer here… Is it possible to change a tourist visa to a non O visa at immigration in Thailand ? I come from Germany. Thanks in advance
