I initially got denied in HCMC Vietnam. Was going to give up but whilst in Philippines I had a chance of heart.
Both times was workcation.
This time though, as I got rejected last time which I think was due to not having proof of tax (I’ve been travelling for two years living off savings) and applied before my first paycheck, I used a family member as a sponsor alongside my own 500k. This time I had been paid a couple times too which was also in my favour.
I had 3 rounds of additional documents. Proof of correspondence with clients and then the rest was mostly about my sponsor.
Was quite annoying, as everything they asked me, they could have asked in one go but hey, we got there in the end.
- Applied on the 8th Jan, pending approval multiple times and then back to pending document check > document requests.
- Then final pending approval on 22nd Jan
- Approved today 26th Jan
😊 see you in Thailand
