Query on Vietnam and the 2 embassies: I am planning on landing in Hanoi making my application then taking a trip to halong bay or somewhere. Then potentially a trip to phu quoc to chill as i wait out the process if still ongoing. Travelling in two weeks time.

Im reading that provided I have entry stamp and accommodation in the jurisdiction of the application then I am ok. Any experiences here with moving in country while processing is ongoing?

Any feedback on Tet delays? I presume TH embassy will take opportunity to close.

You should stay in the same region at least until they are satisfies with your location. Hanoi represent north of da nang. Da nang is under ho chi minh region itself. If they ask you for proof of location and your not in hanois jurisdiction then your application might get cancelled
