Hi everyone! I’m a Canadian citizen. Already in Asia. Would like to open DTV. Please let me know from which country I can do it. Is it possible to open DTV from inside Thailand?

And a glossary to make sure it’s easy for the embassy to read. I also took a selfie outside the hotel. But basically I just followed this to a T and it worked

Sophie Dean yes, workcation. If I’m currently in Da Nang, can I apply in Hanoi? Do I have to be in the same city because I see on the website that proof of accommodation is required?

You can't apply for a DTV from inside Thailand. You need to travel to a nearby country, apply for the DTV at the consulate that serves the area you travel to and remain there until the application process completes
