Hello everyone! I am currently in Hanoi, Vietnam and want to apply DTV visa. Can someone tell me if this message means that I have to go to the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi? Or Can I do everything online here from my hotel?
My Visa, based on marriage, has been approved. I confirmed this with Delta on their app. Pretty simple. Under my ticket, I was asked to confirm my Visa. That is it. I have printed my payment and confirmation for my travel and have them saved on my phone. I will complete the TDAC about three days before I leave
My question is my spouse. She is a dual citizen. Under her Delta ticket, it looks like she needs a Visa also. Does anyone know what that is called? And does that get completed through our Consulate? Thank you
I’m a US citizen currently working remotely from Ethiopia & am trying to apply for a DTV. I’ve two dependents (wife & kid) that are both Ethiopian citizens. How do I go about this?
Do I apply as if I’m living in Ethiopia (in which case the application apparently is handled by the consulate in Niarobi) or do I apply as if I’m living in the US. If the latter then would the consulate in the US also handle the case for my wife/kid although they aren’t a US resident?
My husband has a DTV remote worker visa and myself and two children are on a DTV dependent visa. I gave birth to our third child 5 months ago in Thailand and would like to get him on the dependent DTV as well. I am wondering if anyone has applied in Asia (i.e. Vietnam, Mayasia, Indonesia, Laos) recently for a dependent DTV and had success?
Follow up to my post from 2 September. A few months ago Tod advised me "You could go to a Thai consulate in a nearby country and get a 90 day Non-O visa based on being the father of a thai child by using the birth certificate, the mothers i/d and house book and showing 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only (or the equivalent in an account in your country)". Would it be possible to do this when my original 90-day Non-Imm 'B' is ready to expire on 24 Sept? I am not yet legally married to my child's mother but we all live together. If this is possible, what about Section 4 of the Supporting Documents section on the e-visa application for Vientiane Thai Consulate where it states: "Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB or having the current balance of 400,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter)"? I would be able to show 400,000THB when I submit the e-visa application, but not in my bank for the last three months of bank statements. Has anyone had recent success in getting a 90-day Non-Imm O visa for a Thai child dependant, and did they have to show 400,000THB in their bank for 3 months up to the date they applied, or just in their account at the time they applied, particularly related to Vientiane Thai Consulate? Many thanks!
is it true that today (aug11th), and tomorrow (aug 12th) is a holiday so our applications wont be reviewed until wednesday? would it matter if i submit it today vs wednesday? (i have a few things that need to be done so just wondering if there would be any difference)
