How do I complete the 'Statement' for my Non-Immigrant O visa extension in Thailand?

A question for Tod Daniels please.

I'm completing the documentation to have my non-imm O extended for being over 50 years old and am reviewing your notes on how to prepare and am looking at the 'Statement' in the 'three secret forms' and have a question.

You describe the 'Statement' as 'basically a self guarantee', does that mean that I fill in, with my details, in both the subject fields and the guarantor fields? So I'm guaranteeing myself?

Sounds crazy, hence my question.

Or do I need a different person to act as guarantor for me, which is more logical but not ' a self guarantee,' as you describe it.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 'Statement' for your Non-Immigrant O visa extension is a self-guarantee where you should fill in your own details in both the subject and guarantor fields, denoting the relationship as 'self'. Additionally, ensure to indicate the allowed temporary stay period on the form, which should be until the new extension's expiration.

Thanks Tod for some logic from the illogical.

nope you fill your information in on both areas. They don't want anyone elses information on it but yours. Where it says relationship put "self" and remember to fill in the allowed for temporary stay until with the new extension dated a year from the expiration of the one you're on because that's the one you're guaranteeing.
