TLDR : Answer Summary
A bank letter for a one-year extension due to marriage in Thailand is an official document from your bank confirming your account balance, which must meet the 400,000 THB requirement. It's advisable to check with the immigration office regarding their specific policy on when the letter should be issued, as some offices might accept it up to seven days prior to the application, while others may want it issued on the application date.

A letter from the bank stating the amount of money you have in it. Tell them it is for the immigration, they have something for it in their system

Got my letter a few days before I applied ( 200 baht) . It just confirms your balance . Banks have a request form . Bangkok bank did mine whilst I waited .

The bank letter is a letter written by the bank that looks like this. Most offices allow you to get it up to 7 days before you apply for the extension BUT some want it on the date you apply. Check with your office to see what their policy is on it
