TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks advice on who to list as a guarantor when applying for a non-immigrant O visa in Thailand, specifically for guardianship while accompanying a child on an education visa. Key comments suggest that the applicant can designate themselves as the guarantor and inquire about requirements for proof of funds and documentation related to residing in Hong Kong.

If you don't mind me asking, do you need to show extra proof of funds for that on top of what you had to show for your son's ED visa?

also where it asks for a copy of your hong kong resident card, all they want is a copy of that paper they put in your passport when you entered the country ;)
