I’m happy to share that my DTV has been officially approved! 🙌
This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support, guidance, and contributions from all of you in this amazing group.
Thank you to each and every one who took the time to help, share insights, answer questions, or simply encourage me along the way. Your collective wisdom and generosity truly made a difference.
Feeling grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Onwards and upwards! 🚀💪
With the help from my gym, my visa has been approved.
It turns out that they ask for the 5 star gym certification from every Muay Thai DTV applicant. And they are VERY picky with all other supporting documents too. I would recommend not doing it in Taipei if you can do it elsewhere.

Applying DTV through Muay in Taipei. They are asking further documents I don’t know how to provide, can anyone kindly advice thanks.
In my application I stated that I’ve retired but they are asking for proof of employment. I have submitted proof that I still have income and they’ve accepted that.
My Muay Thai gym is telling me it’s impossible to get the letter. The gym is registered with the sports authority of Thailand.
I spoke to an agent in Pattaya last week who told me that they’re stopped doing DTVs as they’re checking people so much and people being refused entries etc
Another agent told me they’re good to go for 95-100k Baht and enrollment into a cooking course is all that is needed and border runs or immigration stamp every 6 months
Anyone had one for a long time doing a cooking course or similar and not had/had any issues?
