Hello, would there be any issue for border visa bouncing from Bangkok to Penang on the same day in/and out by air /border without even staying overnight ... As I have never done it before... Any input would be greatly appreciated ... I have stayed more than 180 days combined in Thailand this year ...used covid extention ... ( First time as well) ... Would there be an issue when enter the kingdom ? Or better stay overnight? Re_ enter? Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have a METV that will have one 30 day extension. I am doing a border bounce turn around flight to Penang from DMK. No history of previous border crossings, Covid extensions, or TR’s. Only visa exempt stamps and an old OA visa. I have a paid flight out of Thailand before the 60 days are up.

Any foreseeable problem doing this? I plan on leaving my bags in my hotel in Bangkok.

Hello! Is 1 full page, a half page and a quarter page enough to fly to KL or penang, get get my new year business visa (full page) then my return stamps? Need a new passport but difficult to take the time of work.

Going to Penang for a 60 day tourist visa. This is my first time there, and I’ve heard they’re strict. A couple of questions:

- do I really need a ticket out of Thailand? I didn’t need it in Vientiane. If so, does anyone know of a super cheap airfare or service that refunds tickets?

- how much should I bring in cash for transactions? Should I bring Baht?

- how much should I have in the bank?

Any advice would be appreciated, since this is my first time in Penang.

I leave Thailand for the UK on March 31 I'm going to Vietnam on the 7th Jan back 13th Jan, if I go to Penang at the beginning of Feb,can I get a visa for the rest of my time in Thailand? just about 60 days, I'm currently on a 30 day tourist visa and will hopefully have another when I rtn from Vietnam so I need to cover from then till end of my stay.

I have a friend from the States wanting to come and visit me here in CM for three months this fall before returning home. Does she need to get a visa in the States before coming or is it easy enough to try and extend things once she gets here? (We do plan to visit Penang once while she's here, if that's helpful info.)
