Heads up for those of you in Phuket.

If you’ve had your extension from a different province (I.e you used an agent) you are no longer able to do 90 day reports online. They will reject the application.

You must file in person at either Phuket Town (drive through or Room 101), or the Patong Beach office or the Blue Tree Water Park office.

As far as I know this policy is ONLY for those living in Phuket. If you are aware of similar rules in another province then please let us know.

I was wondering if there is any kind of a grace period when doing the 90 day report online?

Good morning everyone,

For some reason I could never do the online #90dayreports so every 3 months I need to go to the immigration office. I need to go there before Monday. Anyone have been there in the past days? Have their working hours/days been affected by the lockdown? Thank you so much for your help!

Update: I went there before lunch time and there was no line. Regarding my lack of access to the #90dayreports online they said there is a problem in the system for some users (me for example). They provided me another way to do the report in the future without going there (by letter).

For those who are not aware. Immigration in Hat Yai is open for 90 day reports. They are very organised and I was in and out in 5 minutes.

Hi tod, I am leaving thailand on Friday to the U.K. I have retirement visa valid until October but I won't return until April 2020 as a tourist. My question is do I need to inform immigration or will they simply cancel my visa at the airport when I leave. I have satisfied all my 90 day reports and never overstayed. Hope you can advise. Many thanks for all the info you have provided on this site. It has been of great assistance for the past two years for me.

OFF TOPIC

TM.30 news BANGKOK

At this time (as of Friday the 28th) there is NO requirement to have a TM.30 in Bangkok to get a re-entry permit, to file a 90 day report. OR to get a new yearly extension (or any extension), <- EXCEPT if you are applying for a new yearly extension after moving to bangkok from another province. Then you do need to do a TM.30

You also need a TM.30 if you are applying for an in-country 90 day Non-Immigrant Type visa (any type)

AND

You need one IF you are applying for a certificate of residence (or at least I watched one person applying for it have to also file a TM.30 on himself.

A friend I was with "self-filed" a TM.30 today with a lease dated yesterday and was NOT fined for failure to file even though he hasn't been out of thailand since 2016..

There are reports of people getting fined 800 baht for filing a TM.30 because they didn't do it within 24 hours of comin' into the country BUT that's all I know..

I would suggest ANYONE in bangkok to either go self file a TM.30, copies of your data page, your visa, your extension your entry stamp your departure card and you lease either in person OR follow that one post about mailing it in and mail it. (I mean they can't fine you by mail :O )

IF I was a betting man (and judging the way the wind is blowing on this matter) I'd say it's ONLY a matter of time until Bangkok does start doing it and enforcing it. IF you can get ahead of the curve by filing yourself, I'd do it.

Good Luck, sorry this was long, :/
