Hi tod, I am leaving thailand on Friday to the U.K. I have retirement visa valid until October but I won't return until April 2020 as a tourist. My question is do I need to inform immigration or will they simply cancel my visa at the airport when I leave. I have satisfied all my 90 day reports and never overstayed. Hope you can advise. Many thanks for all the info you have provided on this site. It has been of great assistance for the past two years for me.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they need to inform immigration about their departure from Thailand on a retirement visa, which is valid until October, or if the visa will be canceled automatically at the airport. They have complied with all regulations, including the 90-day reporting.
