Planning to do DTV evisa under Muay Thai in Hanoi. Currently not working. Is it not a problem to put under occupation "unemployed"? Will it not damage my chances to get the DTV? Although I do plan to register income as I have income from rent.

Or is the occupation filed just to understand what you do in life as I'm applying under Muay Thai course.

Hi Everyone! I want to apply DTV soon. May I know one things about applications? Applying through website or make an appointment? Which one is better ? If online , what places are convenient around SEA and what places are good for walk in appointments?

Just applied in Taipei this morning. Was asked to return to get the result at 3p. Showed up early and was told I was approved around 2:30p. Back tomorrow at 4pm to pick it up. Line was really short today being that they were closed yesterday. In and out this morning in 30-40mins.

I'm applying in Malaysia as an American. The application asks for city of birth. My passport has the state I was born in not the city. Would you put both the city and the state? Or only the city? I would imagine all the relevant info is in their computer system. I don't want to F this up and be rejected. Your help is appreciated.

Anyone used this seminar to apply for the DTV? It only costs 3999.00 Baht. It says you have to attend only once per month online. The website says it qualifies for the DTV. I wonder if its legit or scam.

For those who have recently applied for an e-visa at Ho Chi Minh City, how long did it take for your VISA to be released? On my way to the LOS with my Soft Power DTV on a single ticket! Emirates wanted to see the Visa as it was a single ticket and surprised that it’s a 5 year expiry date! For info the sport I used to get the Visa is not on any list but I am going to be training in Thailand for months at a time. I needed a letter from the general manager of the sports club … and a copy of his passport along with my sporting CV. Granted in London in 5 days. It was a £300 gamble but I emailed the embassy first to ask if it was acceptable and they said apply. Very happy!

Hy guys if you are fr9m South Africa and want to do a DTV visa in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will waste you money and time. Me and my wife just came back from the Royal Thai Embassy. They said because we have South African Passports we need to stay in Jakarta for 6 weeks while they keep our passports then only we can apply here for the DTV visa. We are heading back to Bangkok tomorrow.

I want to apply for dtv online while staying in Vietnam I understand that it takes 5 days to receive the confirmation by email and then my wife can apply for my visa (follower) if you apply while you are outside of Thailand but enter back to Thailand on a tourist visa before you received dtv is it ok?

Hi, so I’m trying to apply for e-visa (DTV) in Phnom Penh, and having a bit of trouble filling out the name field.

In the personal information section, the form asks for first, middle and last name. My name is three words but I don’t have specific first, middle, last. I’m worried that if I separate them, it’ll come out all wrong and will have problems at immigration.

Do you have any suggestions for filling out Burmese names in those fields? Please advise.
