You guys! I am so excited and happy got my DTV approval email just now. Thanks to the group for insight and help. I had asked before about my middle name and you guys came through.

Facts.

Applied on April 30th, evening.

May 2. Request for further documents - April bank statement. I didn't realize that since I applied April my bank didn't generate April statement yet, latest was still March and that's what I sent. 6 months way over the amount needed. I went in immediately and added the April statement as it finally was in my account along with a screenshot of the balance that day and included a letter stating the information about generating etc.

Same evening moved to pending approval

Today, May 7th Approval email.

What I applied with-

Sent in 6 months bank statement from my US bank showing a few times the required amount.

Screen shot of my Fiver page, Etsy shop, Blog front pages (travel and coding), Tipalti account with cash out from Roblox for coding work done for games (like 4 months payment processing) screenshot of stripe payment page 5 months payment transactions

Wrote a letter stating I work online for myself. In the US I dont have a business or business ID as I am DBA (doing business as myself), I code, blog (travel blog) Etsy digital products, stating I understand the rules love thailand, won't break rules, not working in Thailand etc.

Vietnam visa entry stamp and Airbnb booking showing I am in Hanoi where I applied

I was worried about needing more proof of earning or something. But everything went smoothly. I was so worried and stressed for no reason but I think that's normal since a simple mistake could tank it and get rejection or cancellation.

Again, thanks everyone and good luck to all still waiting. Just bought my ticket back to Thailand. I already had an apartment rented (during the 90 days stay) so now I can relax, legally work online and not worry about jumping in and out. Though I will only be here for another year then maybe back after a year. But this gives me peace of mind.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
