Hi, my work contract states I work remotely from my home address which is currently in the UK but states it is remote working. Do I need to get this changed or will this suffice? Or do I also need a letter stating they are happy for my to work in Thailand. UK embassy.

Applied for DTV on the 7th of October in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Haven’t heard back since. Status on the Thai visa website is (and has been for a few days) “pending approval”. No email asking for additional documents received.

Anyone in a similar situation? Seems like it’s taking longer than usual.

Asking for advice!

Hello everyone. I'm living in Thailand with DTV visa currently (I don't have work permit or company). I would like to apply for payout account for Meta Facebook and needing Taxpayer Identification Number(TIN). Where can I apply TIN? If you have any experiences as foreigner content creator in Thailand, kindly please guide me. Thank you in advance.

PLUS : my country,Burma doesn't even have valid tax office and policy for content creator. It's a very messy law and politics sadly.

Hi, can anyone confirm the required amount of cover for health insurance when applying for the OA Visa from Australia? The Thai Visa site says cover of $3m baht but I’ve read somewhere ( can’t remember where lol) that it’s $4M when applying through the Thai Embassy in Sydney

Thanks all

Tourist visa required for exempted visa countries.

Have seen posts and heard stories on how people have been told / forced to get a tourist visa even when they are exempted in order to be permitted to enter Thailand?

Questions are;

(1) Why impose such a requirement?

(2) Online Tourist visa is not available for exempted countries. So how do you then supposed to apply for it?

Thank you.

Hi, I have an ED visa. I am studying in Bangkok so I got my visa through the big immigration in Bangkok however, I live just outside of Bangkok so does that mean I have to do a 90 day check in at my local immigration?

Or, as I went to extend my ED visa on Friday is that sufficient enough? I mean they know where I’m at and that I’m still in Thailand as I extend my visa on Friday just gone. I also had to give my TM30 so immigration have it on record since recently I’m still living in the same place

Just for your information. I popped into the Bangkok bank in Doi Saket and was told yes you can open a bank acct with Non O visa. It can only be a retirement account. They have stopped marriage visa accounts.
