Hi everyone. Is there anyone here who was not approved for DTV?

If so, for what reason? And were you able to appeal?

My case- my application was canceled and I don't know why

After submitting the documents, they told me that documents were missing, I uploaded what was missing to the website. After not receiving a response, I went to the offices and they told me that some things were unclear so I would have to send them again. At that very moment, I sent everything, the secretary checked and said that in her opinion everything was fine. And then - Your visa application has been cancelled.

its the biostatistics. Where did you apply for this DTV? Another problem is if you leave the country where the application was submitted before approval the application is cancelled

too bad the secretary wasn't working in the application approval office.

It sounds like your documents were okay but because they used the word canceled your inputted biodata didn't conform to the passport data.

Cancelled or denied

Did you have to pay?

did you have to pay twice?

Happy Thailand yes. Two diffrent embassies. But yes ypu always habe to pay twice

If they use the word canceled then it means there was a problem with the biodata not matching the passport information. You must triple check everything after you've uploaded your passport biodata page because the machine readable OCR makes mistakes.

And do you know if I can fix this without submitting a new application?

You cannot correct a data error entry once you submit the application, I wish this warning came up on the eVisa system but it doesn't (it's from the thai embassy in tokyo when you click apply eVisa tab)

The application was cancelled because you filled out the fields wrong OR when you scanned your passport with the MRZ and it filled in automatically you didn't check it to make sure it was correct and edit it if it wasn't

You lost that application fee, and have to apply again, pay again.

GO SLOW, it's not a race, check the fields carefully before you submit the application.

Thanks! But how did you know what the mistake was?

@Merav *****
they told me my passport didn’t match my name on my application it auto populated my middle names about 100 times from my passport after I edited it
KC ****
My passport says my first name and last name only but biometric data from number must hold my middle names and it kept populating them in the application after I deleted them
