Can I expect my visa application to be approved by December 30th if the embassy says it takes up to 15 business days to process?

The embassy advises that it can take up to 15 business days (weekends and holidays excluded) to review and process your application. And I've booked my flight leaving London 30th December does this mean it will definitely be approved by the 30th ? I understand there can still be a chance of refusel they requested a flight ticket what I have produced please let me know πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the processing time of their visa application submitted to the embassy, which can take up to 15 business days. They have a flight booked for December 30th and are unsure if their visa will be approved in time. Comments from the community suggest that it is generally risky to book flights before securing a visa, as processing can be delayed, especially around the holiday season.

Mate it could easily take 9-10 business days before "Your application has been rejected. Reason: no reason given. Please fill in our survey!" You ought to plan for this.

Your 15 working day count starts on the 5th of December as that's when you last submitted documents. However the 5th was a holiday so start counting from the 6th. The 10th, 25th, 26th and 31st are also holidays. Not much you can do but keep your fingers crossed

Would always allow at least a 6 week run in when applying for any visa.

IVE ALMOST MADE IT From last friday 5-12 till your flight 30-12 are exactly 15 days, so normally it should be just enough time.

that doesn’t factor in that Dec 5, 10, 25 and 26 would be holidays.

IVE ALMOST MADE IT Nobody knows exact when status is changing and how much time each status takes. I know it is really frustrating, but for yourself it is better not to check too often, it will only nerve you and not help to get it a minute sooner. Try to forget and relax. You cpould have prevented the stress by applying sooner, but now that is no option anymore.

IVE ALMOST MADE IT bear in mind that processing time is 15 days from when you last submitted documents, not from when you first applied. Submitting documents resets the clock. Plus its high season and there are 5 holidays in December
