The embassy advises that it can take up to 15 business days (weekends and holidays excluded) to review and process your application. And I've booked my flight leaving London 30th December does this mean it will definitely be approved by the 30th ? I understand there can still be a chance of refusel they requested a flight ticket what I have produced please let me know π

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the timing of their visa application as they booked a flight from London to Thailand on December 30th. The embassy states that processing can take up to 15 business days excluding weekends and holidays, leading to uncertainty about whether the visa will be approved in time. The comments highlight that there are potential issues and holidays affecting processing times and suggest that typically, one should avoid booking travel before obtaining a visa.
Or at least tickets wit option for free cancelling or changing dates.

Your 15 working day count starts on the 5th of December as that's when you last submitted documents. However the 5th was a holiday so start counting from the 6th. The 10th, 25th, 26th and 31st are also holidays. Not much you can do but keep your fingers crossed

Would always allow at least a 6 week run in when applying for any visa.
hi so there's a very good chance of it being approved before the 30th ? They requested documents twice the final time was flight ticket what I sent straight away it's still saying pending documents and I sent the flight ticket last Friday

IVE ALMOST MADE IT From last friday 5-12 till your flight 30-12 are exactly 15 days, so normally it should be just enough time.
but it's still saying pending documents is that a concern as I submitted 21st November

IVE ALMOST MADE IT Nobody knows exact when status is changing and how much time each status takes. I know it is really frustrating, but for yourself it is better not to check too often, it will only nerve you and not help to get it a minute sooner. Try to forget and relax. You cpould have prevented the stress by applying sooner, but now that is no option anymore.
IVE ALMOST MADE ITi have the same problem I am also in London, i applied 1st of December. Sent requested documents 4th December. My intended date of arrival is 5th of January 2026. When did you put your intended date of arrival for on your application?

IVE ALMOST MADE ITpending documents, did yours change to pending approval and did you get an email for pending approval?
IVE ALMOST MADE IT bear in mind that processing time is 15 days from when you last submitted documents, not from when you first applied. Submitting documents resets the clock. Plus its high season and there are 5 holidays in December
