Just seeing how possible to get a DTV visa here in UK. I read it can only be obtained from outside of Thailand . I have the requirements for this visa apart from Hospital Appointment and Dental appointment , both of which I do need, and /or a cooking Course which I would like very much ? It seems no one is willing to give appointments unless I'm actually in Thailand?

I have in the past, had retirement visas, as I'm well over 50, but as I now have to be back in Uk for a few months each year, the DTV is ideal.

Visa Exempt or Tourist visa with extension give 3 months, just need 5 or 6 months! I wouldn't want to do boarder bounce. And yes of course there's the retirement visa if DTV not possible . Many thanks

Sorry if this is not completely on topic but has anyone ever moved freight from Los Angeles to Bangkok? I'm looking at shipping companies and there's so many options. I'm only looking to move about 1 pallet maybe 1.25m high. Any ballpark ideas how much that would cost if I drop it off at the depot/ port?
