I have a question about the TDAC. I'm flying out to Bangkok next Sunday the 28th. Will the weekend delay the processing of my TDAC if I apply on Friday the 26th?

Hello Thai Visa Gurus. I am arriving in Bangkok Monday, July 21st with a retirement OA visa. Do I just enter the normal visa immigration line or is there a specific line for these visas? Thank for your advice in advance.

Hi, I have been married to my Thai wife 25 yrs next month. She has lived hear in the UK for most of that time.I am currently building our house in Thailand. I have the land, I have built the boundary walls & raised the ground level ready for the house build to start. I am due to retire in 3 yrs. What would be the visa I need to stay the longest time without renewing?? If it’s only a few months the I don’t want to waste money building for nothing. What would my best option please?

I will certainly appreciate your helpful insight ! 🙏🙏 As an American citizen, I plan to apply for O-X visa from Europe, the Thai embassy in France tells me that it would be difficult, if not impossible, because it requires a bank account in Thailand with a Thai bank. And hence, they suggest me first apply for one-year visa with multiple entries, open a bank account in Thailand and afterwards, apply for O-X visa.

However, someone in this group shared earlier that he applied for DTV visa from Vietnam and his foreign bank account worked. And a visa agency in Taiwan tells me a bank account from Taiwan would work. (I'm also a Taiwan citizen)

I need some insights on this, especially as the Thai embassy reminds me that if I fail to submit the exact documents, the *€*350 fee isn't refundable. (the staff is patient with my concerns and super friendly 😃)

Hi there! I wanted to ask if it’s possible to apply for the DTV Nomad Visa as a consultant. I work for a marketing firm as a consultant and wasn’t sure if that qualifies under the program. What sort of documentation are required from the company Also, is there a minimum monthly salary requirement, or do you just need to show a certain bank balance instead? For DTV visa does the 500k need to be in a foreign bank or can it be in Thai bank? TIA

Ok so Tuesday I went and applied for my retirement visa renewal. Everything went fine but while I was giving my documents to the immigration official he asked where I live and wanted me to explain how to get there from the Jontiem immigration office. I explained directions and he said fine. Then handed me this paper with Captain Poo number. Explain that within the week Captain Poo would call and set a time to visit my condo and take pictures. On Wednesday I picked up my passport with the new one year extension. I thought no way is this guy going to call me. Well today he called and then came over to my place. He met the juristic and me, then had her take a photo of me and him in front of my door with the room number in it. Then two more inside. I signed a document and then he left. He had with him my renewal application. Strange has anyone heard of this. Captain Poo is real.
