From first hand experience only please, not speculation- When entering on a workation DTV, Is the entry smoother and less hassle-free, less chance of difficulty for first entry on DTV to enter through BKK, and then travel on to CNX? I'm getting mixed signals from various posts here. I feel I'm in 100% compliance, and the extra leg through BKK adds travel costs and is basically a nuisance. If the odds of not being f'd with are the same, I'd rather just enter at CNX.

Hey everyone, I could use some advice. My 90-day report is due in 7 days, and I just realized I forgot to have my Bangkok landlord file the TM30 when I returned from abroad now 83 days ago. I’ve been in this condo for a year, had two TM30s done before with no issues, but totally forgot this time. My first 90-day report was in person, and the second was online.

I know there’s a 7-day grace period for the report, but I’m moving to Bang Saray on Sept 16 for a month. I don’t know if it makes sense to do my 90-day report in person at the Bangkok immigration office if I can’t get a TM30 for my current apartment. I’m hoping my new Airbnb host in Bang Saray can file a fresh TM30 so I can submit my 90-day report at the Chonburi Immigration Office in Pattaya within the two days after I move in. If the host won’t do it, I could stay a night in a hotel there to get a TM30. Is this plan workable? Will immigration care that I didn’t file the TM30 within 24 hours of returning? Any tips or experiences would be really helpful. Thank you.

Recent change in Wise to Bangkok Bank ‘International Funds Transfer’ tagging.

Prior to this month transfers Wise to Bangkok Bank took 3-5 days but where tagged correctly as ‘International Funds Transfer’. However this month the same transfer occured in seconds and appears to have been routed through Kbank and then received at Bangkok Bank as a local bank to bank transfer.

Note: the Wise process did not stop to ask the reason for transfer which I previously tagged as ‘funds for long term stay in Thailand’

I am on the NON-O retirement extension based on 65,000 thb monthly. I am concerned that Bangkok bank will not be able to provide a document for the next extension identifying 12 monthly international funds transfers.

Note: I will print a receipt from Wise each month and save. Remains to be seen how this new change will play out.

Hello All

Any red flags or just a better understanding for me regarding my trip this month please

So I arrive on 10 Sept and return flight is on 8 Oct

South African passport so should be 60 day visa

My g f lives in Thailand

We plan to go to Vietnam for a week and then Myanmar for a couple of days during the month.

On re entering Thailand each time how does it work do you do the online application and then get a new 60 day each time ?

Any problems anticipated with this ?

Re: More than 1 passport, and minimum # of stay

I have more than 1 passport, want to unfreezes my bank account with temporary retirement visa and settle all good in my original country and Thai, before moving

Question 🙏🏻

Can i enter Thai with 60 days tourist stamp on passport A, but use passport B (plus address proof and 800k proof) to apply temporary non-o retirement visa, so that I can avoid the unnecessary 45/60 days staying in Thai

Ps. learnt from here, I can only applying long term 12 months extension with temporary retirements visa which will expiry not more than 45 or 30 days… appreciated

If you fly out of Thailand before your non-O visa expires (based on husband's non-b visa) then enter again as a tourist. Would you be able to apply for a new non-o visa through a new sponsor (based on mother's non-b visa) without the cancellation stamp in your passport from your previous sponsor? Fyi, sponsors visa are from different immigration offices.

I just received an email for requested documents for my DTV application, but I don't know what to submit. Even tho I submitted most of supported documents in the original application.

Here is the list of requested documents:

1. A copy of the company's registration/business license along with GST registration

I do not have a registered business. I work as a freelancer with independant monthly contracts. What documents should I submit here? Can I submit my client's LLC? What else should I submit to support my case?

2. Flight details and Hotel accommodation

I had submitted the flight number (no tickets) & agoda hotel bookings. Do I need to book a flight now and submit the ticket itself?

My hotel bookings were booked on 'pay later/free cancellation' option. And they have expired, do i need to rebook or should i just submit the pdf that was submitted in the original application?

3. A foreign employment contract or employment certificate

I do not have a employee certificate, although I do have a few client's contracts. I was also advised to add a letter head and stamp of your name at the top of the contract. What do you suggest?

4. Copies of all pages of the passport

I can submit these.

PS. I am applying at the Mumbai's thai consular in India. From other's experience, they tend to look for strong proof of regular employment and if one can sustain themselves in thailand.

I am very grateful for this group and the people in this community helping each other out . Thank you so much to everybody! All respectful opinions are appreciated!
