Im applying for DTV Medical Soft skill because of Type 1 Diabetes. Will work with two clinics with peptides, ozone, maybe HBOT etc and some routine blood work.

Could you give me any tips so my visa gets approved at first time?

- how many month of treatment plan are necessary?

- will they want some proof of my chronic illness?

- any other tips, if someone already went through this please let me know ka :)

I’m planning to apply for DTV in Penang via thaievisa.go.th and would love to hear your experiences. Has anyone applied from there? How did it go? Was the processing fast (5-7 days?) and were there any challenges with documents or Please share your insights – it would help me and others a lot!

I just received an email for requested documents for my DTV application, but I don't know what to submit. Even tho I submitted most of supported documents in the original application.

Here is the list of requested documents:

1. A copy of the company's registration/business license along with GST registration

I do not have a registered business. I work as a freelancer with independant monthly contracts. What documents should I submit here? Can I submit my client's LLC? What else should I submit to support my case?

2. Flight details and Hotel accommodation

I had submitted the flight number (no tickets) & agoda hotel bookings. Do I need to book a flight now and submit the ticket itself?

My hotel bookings were booked on 'pay later/free cancellation' option. And they have expired, do i need to rebook or should i just submit the pdf that was submitted in the original application?

3. A foreign employment contract or employment certificate

I do not have a employee certificate, although I do have a few client's contracts. I was also advised to add a letter head and stamp of your name at the top of the contract. What do you suggest?

4. Copies of all pages of the passport

I can submit these.

PS. I am applying at the Mumbai's thai consular in India. From other's experience, they tend to look for strong proof of regular employment and if one can sustain themselves in thailand.

What happens if you trade stocks or crypto while on a dtv is that considered working or, or could that be a way for income while you are there?

I just submitted my DTV Visa following mainly what was said here in the group (and with the help of ChatGPT).

But now I just discovered that the Belgian Embassy asks for 15.000 EUR proof in bank statements on their website? I thought it was still the 500K baht? Any other Belgians can confirm/deny?

I submitted my application on 1 September. It has already been 4 working days and it's still in pending documents check. Is it normal to take that long?

For those who’ve applied for a remote work DTV, did the embassy verify your documents directly with your employer, or was a signed letter sufficient?

How do I submit flight information when no flight booked?

I am going to apply here in my home country for the retirement non OA visa. I’m also using the monthly method when I apply and intend on meeting all the requirements here. I will start making my deposits as soon as I have a bank account and will have met the 12 months deposit as required for my renewal. So my question is: as long as I continue to meet deposit and insurance requirements does my Non OA visa expire after the first renewal and I the transfer to a Non O or return to home country and reapply for the Non OA? I’m a bit confused so I hope I didn’t confuse you too! Edward

9/2 - Request for more documents, including my tax return,  business registration of the company I work for and the business portfolio of the company I work for.

 please note they also asked for all of the documents I submitted  in the email. However, when I went online to update  they only asked for the new documents.

9/3-  submitted “further” documents.
