What are the current bank statement proof requirements for the DTV Visa from the Belgian Embassy in Thailand?

I just submitted my DTV Visa following mainly what was said here in the group (and with the help of ChatGPT).

But now I just discovered that the Belgian Embassy asks for 15.000 EUR proof in bank statements on their website? I thought it was still the 500K baht? Any other Belgians can confirm/deny?

ChatGPT really shouldn't be used for serious matters. A quick Google search would have guided you to the official Embassy website. If the account is not in Thai bath, each country is establishes the amount in the relevant currency.

The requirement is stil 500K, but when the embassy decides 500K = €
*****
, you better just accept it, because a discussion about the exchange rate might reduce chances of getting approval.

Yes I applied with €

thinking that would be enough of an equivalent for the 500K. So I might just get rejected 🙁

I have my DTV from Brussels Thai embassy.

It’s always the rules from the embassy where you apply you have to match.
