I’m planning to apply for DTV in Penang via thaievisa.go.th and would love to hear your experiences. Has anyone applied from there? How did it go? Was the processing fast (5-7 days?) and were there any challenges with documents or Please share your insights – it would help me and others a lot!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation reveals a largely negative sentiment regarding the application process for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) from Penang, Malaysia. Many users advise against applying from there due to various challenges, including long processing times, required document resubmissions, and personal experiences of denial. Alternatives such as applying in Jakarta or Hanoi are recommended for better chances of approval.

There are lot of previous experiences in the previous posts of the group, take advantage of those first.

And Tha Thai Embassy website is a must-read.

Ansøg i Danmark, så er der langt større chance for at dokumentationen godkendes første gang, og der skal ikke betales for et måske månedlangt ophold i et 3. land.

Malaysia fast? 😂 Expect a month at minimum. And multiple requests for documents you've already sent in 2-3 times
