I plan to apply for DTV in jakarta soon for Workation as freelance. I have 500k statements from the last 6 months.
However my situation is a bit specific as I am a freelance, but has been working for a single client over the last 6 years, almost like an employee.
Therefore, I am concerned regarding the portfolio requirements. Was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation ? What kind of documents would you recommend to provide ?
I was thinking to provide invoices with matching funds received on my bank account, not sure if that will be enough
I submitted a 6-month bank statement that I obtained from the online banking system of a bank in my country. Now, they are asking me to prove that the bank statement is legitimate. How should I prove its legitimacy? Should I just write and submit a cover letter?
Do you also experience these kinds of requests? If so, what is the best way to handle thsi
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on the appropriate way to address such a request effectively.
Hello community, how are you? Do you know what I mean by work documents? I applied in Hanoi, Vietnam. I've already uploaded my pay stubs and employment contract, but I don't know what else to upload. I also work freelance with clients in the marketing department and have contracts. Should I upload that too? Should I write a letter explaining the situation? This would be the third time they've asked me for more information.
I do graphic design for various companies which I can do anywhere. I don't work for a specific employer. Any recommendations on how to get an employment letter that is needed for the DTV Visa?
Not sure about the documents I should prepare so I have some questions for 2 ways of doing it..
1) Would new business/individual activity registration and freelance portfolio be enough? Assuming I don’t have any tax returns, because it is new business.
2) Normal contract, no freelancer contract, where it is stated, that I can work remotely. Or do I also need to provide additional document from company, that I can work remotely?
I was requested to provide my freelancer portfolio or a website (for my DTV visa application).
I'm working as a remote contractor and I have both a contract and a letter from the firm stating that they'll continue my employment from Thailand (all of this was included in the original submission).
What should I do regarding the portfolio?
Would it be enough to include a letter, stating my situation?
Hi I wanted to ask a question about applying for the DTV at HCMC embassy. I am a self-employed online freelancer making music. I have the needed funds in a checking account and I have a portfolio showing many clients, invoices and contracts and detailing exactly what I do.
My only worry is that I do not have a company set up and I do not have 6 months of payslips. Although this isn't officially required for the visa is seems like everyone is being asked for these documents, is there any chance of approval without them and if not, is there any nearby country/embassy that I can apply from without them?
