Hey All, how long does the 500k need to be in the bank before you can apply for a DTV visa please.

Anybody recently applied and got approved for DTV while in Vietnam, through the e-visa portal? Particularly for a remote work visa.

Have some questions as i am thinking about applying myself. I've tried googling the answers but couldn't find anything concrete. Could use some help before i pay the non-refundable fee and then get rejected.

1. How old was the bank statement that you used for the showing of the equivelant of 500.000 baht? I have one from August where it shows 15.000 euros, if I print one out now, i would be a bit short (12.700 euros currently in my account).

2. I have my employment contract, however, it doesn't specifically state that i can work remotely. That is an agreement between my employer and myself. Would i need an additional letter stating the approval to work remotely?

3. I wanted to include my payslips when uploading for the financial requirements, but it seems that you can only upload 1 document, is there a way around that, or do you get the option to upload additional supporting documents later in the workflow? (I haven't gone passed the uploading files screen).

Any information would be much appreciated. I am currently in Vung Tau, else i would go to the consulate general in Ho Chi Minh City myself.

I am trying to figure out how to go about getting her a tourist visa to come with me and visit my family in the US. Someone has said I have to go back to the US and apply there for her to come visit, is that correct? I want to be able to do it here as I am living here. What do I need to do? Hi Everyone, Im currently applying for my DTV visa and was looking for some help if anyones in a similar case to me.

1. In regards to financial evidence, am I able to provide a invesment account statement?. I use wealthsimple and have monthly statements. I Have they money but its not liquid in my regular bank account as I invest it.

2. In regards to "Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status" I currently run a bunch of youtube channels and thats my job. Is there any other youtubers in here who have filled this out?

Youtube doesnt give contracts as we are essentially freelancers and are paid through Google adsense. However, I do have sponsorship contracts with companies. If anyone can help, I will love you forever.

I am currently still in Perth Australia, I am looking at applying for the new DTV visa soft power option for medical treatments for my menopause, I am in touch with Samitivej Thon Buri hospital at the moment, what I am wanting to know is, can I apply for medical insurance and if so can anyone recommend an insurance company that will cover this sort of treatment, preferably one where I can just submit a claim without having to pay for it in advance, thanks

I am planning on doing Muay Thai soft power route through a gym in Bangkok.

I am going to leave Thailand and fly to Vietnam, possibly Danang. I can apply for the visa anywhere in Vietnam I take it and await the approval online?

Is it faster to do it in person at an Embassy?

I have heard it can take up to a month to process, what’s people experience with the time of approval?
