I was so excited to move to Thailand for long term using ed visa until I heard about the new tax law applied for foreigners who stay for more than 6 months. any advice? thanks

Hi, We are a family from Norway with 2 small kids (2 and 4) looking to move to Thailand in the next months. What is the best way to get a visa for all family and life there for 1 or 2 years. I'm a product designer (45) working in remote and my wife (42) is pensionist.

I live in the United Kingdom , my girlfriend lives in Thailand , I want to bring her back to the U.K. with me for 3 months , is it better to get her visa from Thailand or is it better to get from United Kingdom ?

Hi I’m in Thailand just now and my visa runs out on the 25th of march, last month I fell down stairs and twisted my knee and I’ve had to get an operation on my knee. ACL operation and I’m going to be in Chiangmai for minimum 9 months for my rehabilitation at hospital. Can I in anyway get a 1 year medical visa while I’m here? Thanks

hii i entered thailand with just the 30 day entry visa and did extension in chiang mai

then i left to sri lanka for two weeks and came back to bangkok, did another 30 day extension here

my visa expires march 28, can i leave to say singapore for a day or two and re enter with the same process for another 30 days + 30 day extension while i work on a longer term visa or will they deny me re entry?

I have SETV with 3 months of validity to enter the country before April 8th. I won't be able to do that. Is there any option to extend the visa or if I want to enter later I have to apply for a new one?

Just got notice of approval for the 10 year Wealthy Pensioner Resident Visa.

I’m currently on a Non-O Visa annual extension inside Bangkok. The website is asking me to update any info.

Specifically in the notes it’s asking to scan copies of all visas and “current visa which has been cancelled with the remaining permission to stay sufficient to receive LTR Visa”.

Does this apply to me or is this only for Non-B Visa? Do I need to do anything w my current visa or will the BOI cancel my Non-O when I get the LTR visa issued?

Can I apply for non o in Phnom Penh if I am 50 and my wife is not? She would be a dependent. They were not clear when I asked. They shad bring marriage certificate but she wasn’t clear if that was enough. I have to provide bank statement is that one month or more that one month.

Just a thought, when extending your visa, do they never question the return flight date?

If Im correct, when arriving one of the things checked is evidence of a return flight?

I'm from a Singapore that have visa exemption for 30 days. My question is that if I enter Thailand from Malaysia does that I can't enter into Thailand thru Malaysia for more than 2 times with the exemption free visa?
