I wonder if this DTV will be tightened up because people are deciding to ignore the correct application process and using agents in Thailand instead of applying outside of Thailand?

it already has impacted embassies in nearby countries. They are asking for proof of exit from Thailand and entry stamps to the country you apply to. Some are adding the requirement that you must remain in the country until your visa is issued and are calling in random people for interviews.Ronald ********

the embassies have the criteria required for a DTV. Think you'll find they set their own requirements.
